Pick up at 8h30 a.m from your riad or hotel in Fez and transfer to Volubilis roman site. Spend time exploring this ancient Roman town of Volubilis with a local guide. You will be fascinated by its well-preserved mosaics, palaces, baths and soaring arches. Afterward, we drive to Meknes for a cultural visit to finish our day. Meknes is one of the Imperial cities and once the Capital of Morocco under the rule of Moulay Ismail. Meknes is a home of many Palaces & Mosques, Beautiful gates such as (Bab Mansour). The old city of Meknes is surrounded by thick ramparts.


Pick up at 8 a.m from your riad in Fez, transfer to Chefchaouen which is a Morocco popular tourist attraction and the welcoming town nestled in the Rif Mountains just south of the Mediterranean coastline in northwest Morocco. Chefchaouen is known as a “blue city” for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains. Back to Fez in the afternoon or you may choose to stay for an overnight in Chefchaouen, riads with facilities are available inside the medina as well.


Pick up at 7h30 from your Fez riad or Hotel, Transfer to Taza, a medieval city situated in the northeast of Fez. Our destination is Friouato caves which are a natural attraction in Morocco known locally as “Gouffre Friouato” and were first explored by a French adventurer Norbert Casteret in the year 1930. The Firouato cave is considered to be the largest underground cave network in Northern Africa. The cave system is more than 150 feet deep and extends for about 3.8 km underground and home to some amazing stalactites and stalagmites. We recommend that you bring walking shoes, flashlights and a warm sweater or jacket to climb down on guided exploration of the cave. We finish our day trip by visiting Taza city attractions including the walls, Great mosque and medieval buildings.

Morocco Short Desert Trips 2 & 3 Day Tours Fes to Erg Chebbi:

Erg Chebbi sand sea dunes are 8 hours drive from Fez so if you are limited in time you can always try 2 Days/1 night option with an overnight camel trek in a tented camp, you may also choose to take a short camel trek at sunset and spend the night in a hotel at the dunes line. An additional day at Merzouga to explore the sand dunes with your driver and 4×4 vehicle, meet the nomads leaving in tents, why not a break of tea with a nomad family and the suburbs including Khamia village where black musicians and Rissani. If you choose the 3 days / 2nights Fes – Erg Chebbi desert tour, you can spend the first night in a hotel by the dunes to relax and the second night for a camel trek and overnight in a tented camp. Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi:
Pick up at 8:00 a.m from your Fes riad or hotel, depart and transfer over the Middle Atlas Mountains through the cedar forests of Ifrane and Azrou, Midelt and the Ziz valley. Night at Erg Chebbi sand dunes in a nomad tented camp with a camel Trek or a hotel by the dunes.

Day 2 :Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Todra Gorges:
Enjoy the beautiful sunrise at Erg Chebbi, camel trek back to the hotel for a shower and drive to the impressive canyons of Todra via Rissani. Dinner and night in Todra gorges.

Day 3: Todra Gorges – Tamtatoucht – Agoudal – Imilchil:
From Todra gorges, we go upper through the Berber villages of Tamtatoucht and Ait Hani. We may stop for tea or lunch with the inhabitant. We follow our way in beautiful scenery until we arrive at Imilchil, the famous Berber village not only for the wedding Festival but also for the 2 lakes “Isli” & “Tislit”. Dinner and overnight in small family-owned Auberge (Inn).

Day 4: Imilchil – High Atlas Mountains – Fez:
After breakfast, we cross the Atlas Mountains, back to Fez where our trip ends.
