Marrakech For Honeymooners

Day 1: Arrival to Marrakech

Arrival to Marrakech, you will be received by one of our English-speaking drivers, then transfer to your riad in the old medina of Marrakech which is a 15 min drive from the Menara airport. Marrakech is only a 3h flight from major European cities.

Day 2: Exploring Marrakech Medina & Souks

At 9:30 a.m you will be met by an official local tour guide for an orientation tour, a great introduction to Marrakech and its historical monuments including Bahia & Badii Palaces, The Mederassa Ben Youssef, and Saadian Tombs. You will visit the colorful souks of Marrakech navigating through the alleys. You can also make it out of the medina to, behind the walls, to see the beautiful gardens of Majorelle. For the rest of the afternoon, you can experience a Hammam and for the evening, we recommend a visit to the main square where you can see the storytellers, stalls of food, musicians, and acrobats. Around the magic hour, a drink in one of the Cafe terraces overlooking the busy square is a remarkable moment of your Marrakech short stay.

Day 3: Marrakech to Atlas Mountains (Suggested Day Tour)

After the 48h in the busy Marrakech, you will probably be looking forward to seeing the countryside, the foothills, Berber villages & Markets, green fields, lush valleys, and the snowy peaks of the Atlas Mountains. That is why we have suggested a one-day Marrakech tour to the Atlas Mountains, one of our drivers will pick you up at 8:30 a.m from your riad and after 40min drive, everything is different from what you experienced in Marrakech. You may stop at one of the local markets or take a hike with a local mountain guide or enjoy a meal at a local family house. In the afternoon, you are brought back to your riad in Marrakech.
You may want to book dinner out for tonight at a traditional Moroccan restaurant.

Day 4: Back Home

Pick up from your riad in Marrakech and transfer to Marrakech airport for your return flight back home according to your flight details.

Rabat & Fez Multi-City Break 4 Nights

Day 1: Arrival to Casablanca – Transfer to Rabat

Arrival at Casablanca Med V airport, you will be received by one of our English-speaking drivers, then transfer to your riad in the old medina of Rabat, the city known as the capital of Morocco which is a 1h20min drive from the Med V airport.

Day 2: Exploring Rabat & It′s Medina

At 9:30 a.m you will be met by an official local tour guide and your driver for an orientation tour, a great introduction of Rabat with its wide streets and its historical monuments including Kasbah Oudayah, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. You may go for lunch before you visit the Royal Palace of Rabat with your guide and then end up in Chellah also known as Sala Colonia, which is a medieval fortified necropolis located in the south of Rabat. In the afternoon, you will return back to your riad for the 2nd night in Rabat.

Day 3 : Rabat to Fez via Meknes & Volubilis

After breakfast, you set off to Fez, en route you stop to visit the Imperial city called Meknes, which use to be the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail. Among its attractions, the Bab Mansour & Bab Lakhmis, Hri Souani, and Agdal reservoir. A quick lunch before heading to the Roman ruins called Volubilis across the fertile farmlands, a popular area with wineries. Once in Volubilis, you will be guided on a walking tour of about 1h30 to learn more about the roman existence in Morocco. Before Volubilis, there is a small holy town nestled in the mountains called Moulay Driss Zerhoun, holding a special place in the hearts of the Moroccan people. Given the arrival of Moulay Idris I bringing the religion of Islam with him. You will end up in Fez later in the evening, walk through the narrow alleyways to reach your riad in Fez for the next 2 nights.

Day 4: Exploring Fez Medina

At 9:30 a.m you will be met by an official local tour guide and your driver for an orientation tour, a great introduction of Fes or Fez with its medina and its historical monuments including Mederassas, Mosques & Palaces. A full-day guided tour is scheduled here in Fez. Fez is the intellectual capital of the kingdom and was considered Mecca of the west and Athena of Africa. It is the biggest city in the country after Casablanca with a population of approximately 1 million. This city is a former capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities. Fez comprises three distinct parts, Fes el Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a big wall, where are more than 9000 narrow streets and allies. Fes-Jdid or the new Fez, home of the Mellah the Jewish quarter, and the Ville Nouvelle the newest section of Fez created during the French occupation. Fes el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The medina of Fes is the largest in the world. Among its narrow streets and allies, the oldest university in the world is located; The University of Al-Karaouine, founded in AD 859. This University is still operating nowadays.

Day 5: Back Home

Pick up from your riad in Fez and transfer to Casablanca airport for your return flight back home according to your flight details. It is a 4h drive/journey through the motorways.
